DEBTOR / CREDITOR MATTERS

Prouse Dash & Crouch’s litigation department has extensive experience acting for individuals and businesses on both the debtor and creditor side of collection matters.  We have access to a vast range of search resources that enable us to advise clients of the practical chances of success, not only in receiving a judgment against a debtor, but also regarding the collection of the same.  For those on the debtor side of the equation, we are able to provide sound advice regarding chances of success in defending claims brought by creditors and, where practical, desirable and instructed to, negotiate settlements and compromises.  Debtors and creditors alike need to be aware of the provisions of the new Limitations Act and need to take this legislation into consideration when determining their legal rights and the right time to engage legal assistance to enforce the same.
